In this chapter book written by a 28-year veteran teacher, Flo Flo the Fennec Fox lives in her natural desert habitat in North Africa. One day, Mango the Monkey visits and
bullies her by making fun of her long ears and dry habitat.
Thrown together in a rare desert occurrence, a rainstorm, they must join forces to outwit the elements in order to survive a flash flood.
Mango learns to appreciate differences in other species and where they live. Both are shocked by the unexpected beauty the rain has left behind.
This book was written to benefit Elmira s Wildlife Sanctuary in Manatee County, Florida, where the real Flo Flo lives. See her at www.elmiraswildlife.org.
Scriptor Publishing is donating all profits to help Elmira s care for the many exotic animals they have rescued over the years that, otherwise, would have nowhere else to go.
